definitionCd yellow and light azure for sunlit leaves. Leaves are chrome, green with blue reflections and violet spotting. Mask, edges of leaves and veins. Under paint with raw sienna Purple spots in sunlight need a redder purple Cerulean blue wash in cool areas Cd yellow, violet, alizarin crimson, Cd green or Cr green Indigo in shadows Mask everything that is not green. Wash manganese blue for granulation effect. Mask leaf edges with prominent borders. Paint green for leaves. Remove all masks. Paint, yellow, purple, and red over yellow. Purple consist of two mixes, a reddish, and a bluish Highlight on small branch is white. Darker background colors glazed with indigo.
